The course spans the length of the Gold Coast, with the start slated for Snapper Rocks heading north across an 18 kilometre course, set to finish at the iconic Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club.
MPA was represented by Brett Greenwood and Daniela Torre.
Despite challenging conditions, Brett and Daniela raced finished second and forth in their respectful divisions.
Just before the race, Brett run a training camp in Gold Coast which was attended by NSW, Victoria, QLD and international paddlers.
